- This is the game's first autoscroller. There is nothing you can do to save time, so just make sure you don't get hit or die!
- In a full-game run, it saves a second to avoid all flowers and red coins because it shortens the score tally at the end of the level.
- Holding forward into the goal ring saves 2 frames over just fluttering into it with the screen scroll without any directional inputs. However, if you grabbed any flowers by accident you need to flutter into the goal ring without holding right or you will get a bonus.
- It is highly recommended to exit 1-5 with six eggs as you'll be using them to help close out World 1.
