Advice for new runners:

New runners are recommended to learn tricks in the following order:

  1. Learn the basic eggless warps.
  2. ???

Eggless Warps

These warps are all possible without the use of big eggs. They can thus be attempted regardless of how many eggs you decide to take with you in a run.

Basic

These warps are relatively easy and are the foundational tricks of the category. They should be mastered first before attempting any others.

Advanced

These warps are more difficult, but save additional time. They should only be added to runs once you've mastered the recommended warps.

  • 1-6
    • This warp requires frame perfect jumps that can be difficult to execute. Although this warp is less critical than others, it can be attempted without any risk. If you fail, you can still beat 1-6 normally.
  • 5-3
    • This warp uses TGC, with mouth glitch achieved using the mid ring in the second room.
  • 5-8
    • This warp uses TGC, with mouth glitch achieved using the mid ring just after the bullet bill launchers.
  • 6-4
    • ???

Big Eggs

Many warps can be achieved using big eggs obtained in 2-7. These warps are all achieved with TGC, using a big egg to set up mouth glitch. Key levels are 2-8, 3-4, 3-8, 4-4, and 4-8.

Different routes are possible based on how many big eggs you take with you from 2-7.

Baxters

In order to be carried between stages, big eggs must be Baxtered at each goal ring.

how?
