The beginning route shown in this video should probably not be used in a run. Instead, simply gather 6 eggs from the egg block and shoot holes in the foam.

The beginning route shown in the first video requires at least three eggs, but you may want to gather more than that for safety. It is possible to make it through with only one egg (see IL WR), but requires very precise eggshots and is not recommended for full-game runs.
